Artist Statement
I have never been able to choose just one way of telling a story. So I stopped trying.
I write for the reader who has been told the world is too complex to fit into one genre, one language, one identity. I perform for the audience that feels every gesture on stage as something more than movement. I create for the community that knows that play, laughter and imagination are not lesser forms of meaning — they are essential ones.
My worlds carry gods with a sense of humor, princesses who refuse the script written for them, and sacred moments hiding inside ordinary ones. I do not believe that darkness and light are opposites. I believe they are the same fabric, shimmering differently depending on where you stand.
As an ordained minister, a movement actress, a soprano, an audio drama producer, a novelist and a community builder — I have learned that every form of storytelling is ultimately the same act: the decision to witness another soul and say, I see you. Come in. There is room for you here.

Names are doors. I keep two.
Lyraysy – the body in the light
Lyraysy is the name that walks onto the stage and in front of the camera. She is movement, voice, breath and laughter. Through acting, I lend my body to queens and outcasts, saints and comedians, letting their stories carve themselves into my bones for a brief, blazing moment. Every role is an experiment in truth: how far can I stretch myself without breaking the thread that ties me back to who I am?
Linda Mihaela Weidmann – the hand in the ink
Linda is the name that appears on the cover of my books. She is the patient hand that shapes the universe of The Princess of the Seven Holy Gods — the architect of seven holy gods and the mortals who dare to stand before them, laugh at them, and occasionally outsmart them. On the page, time slows. I can listen to a character's heartbeat until it becomes my own.
One artist, two names, one world
Though the paths of acting and writing may look different, they lead to the same place: story. As Lyraysy, I inhabit worlds created by others. As Linda, I build my own. But the questions, the obsessions, the sense of wonder — those remain constant. If you follow either name, you will eventually find yourself in the same world: luminous, layered, and full of unexpected laughter.
Biography
I was born in Switzerland in 1993, between mountains that look like sleeping giants and cities whose lights shimmer like scattered constellations. From the very beginning, I was drawn to two things above all else: stories and stages.
I did not wait long to find my place on one. At the age of three, I began dancing at the Schweizerische Ballettberufsschule Zürich, where I trained in classical ballet and character dance for twelve years. Around the same time, I found my voice — literally — joining the youth choir of the Opernhaus Zürich, where I would go on to perform for a decade as a soprano and alto with the SoprAlti ensemble. At 12 years old, I recorded and produced my first solo album "Don't Give Up." I had a lot to say, and I was not prepared to wait.
Theatre came next, and with it a whole new language. I trained as a movement actress at the Theaterschule comart Zürich, graduating in 2013, and threw myself into every form the stage could offer: grand opera and intimate children's theatre, Commedia dell'Arte and physical comedy, dramatic solos and ensemble work. I wrote my first original stage piece, "Arlecchino und der Dieb des Siegelrings," in 2014 and directed and performed it myself. I have since performed in over 124 city crime thriller productions, sung at the Opernhaus Zürich in works including Werther, La Bohème and Hänsel und Gretel, appeared in Swiss feature films, and developed and performed live science shows at Technorama Winterthur.
Alongside my stage work, I built a world in words. As a voice actress and audio drama producer, I created original Swiss-dialect audio drama series broadcast on Radio15.ch and Kanal8610, dubbed animated series, and produced my own animations. My YouTube channel became a creative home for all of it.
The Princess of the Seven Holy Gods, published under my full name Linda Mihaela Weidmann, is the first novel of the series of the same name. It was written in English for an international audience and formatted with care for readers with dyslexia and ADHD, because every reader deserves to enter the story without barriers. It is not a dark book — it carries laughter alongside sacrifice, warmth alongside the uncanny, and gods who are never quite what you expect.
In 2025 I was ordained as a minister — Rev. Linda Mihaela Weidmann — bringing the same reverence for words and ceremony that has always guided my art into a new form of service.
I also founded Sorcerercity Events, an official Swiss association organizing worldwide DnD TikTok live events, because community, play and imagination are also sacred acts.
Today I move between page and stage, between Lyraysy and Linda, between Switzerland and the world. My vow remains the same: to tell stories that make you feel everything — and to never, ever settle for just one way of telling them.

The universe of The Princess of the Seven Holy Gods was not built alone.
What makes this world truly extraordinary is that it is a living, collaborative creation — welcome to The Healing Dragon Universe.
The Healing Dragon Universe is a shared world built together by a growing community of authors, each writing their own stories, their own characters and their own series, all set within the same interconnected world. This means that a character you meet in The Princess of the Seven Holy Gods may appear in another author's book. A city you read about in one story is the backdrop of another. The threads of each novel weave into the others, creating a tapestry that no single author could build alone.
Among the authors already publishing within this universe:
J.V. Weidmann — Swiss-based author and Linda's husband — whose series The Broken Gears unfolds in Sorcerer City, a marvel of magic, invention and political intrigue.
Morosa — whose stories add yet another layer to this ever-expanding world.
And more authors are on their way — among them Kieron Turner and others whose stories are currently being written, worlds being shaped, characters finding their voices.
The Healing Dragon Universe is still growing. It is not just a collection of books — it is an invitation to be part of something larger. The more you read, the more connections you will find. And the best chapters are still being written.

Behind the Scenes & Personal Notes
For all its magic and drama, my work is rooted in wonderfully ordinary rituals.
I often write at night, when the world grows quiet enough to hear my characters arguing in my head — and yes, they do argue. A candle or two, a cup of tea cooling beside the keyboard, a soundtrack shifting from sacred choirs to thunderous drums to something completely unexpected — this is how I call the worlds closer.
As Lyraysy, I carry certain superstitions to the stage. I touch the set with my fingertips before stepping into the light, as if greeting an old friend. I breathe with the space, counting heartbeats — and then I remind myself that the best performances, like the best stories, leave room for surprise.
Between projects I gather stories like others gather stones: fragments of folklore, overheard conversations, the way light falls on an unexpected moment. I am equally at home inventing gods and laughing at terrible puns. Both are essential. Both are sacred.
I share my life with my husband J.V. Weidmann, a fellow author and world-builder, and together we are building something that neither of us could build alone — The Healing Dragon Universe, a shared world that grows with every story written, every character born, every reader who steps through the door.
